COSTS:
COSTS OF SAHAVAS
Jai Baba!
There are many events at Avatar’s Abode each year that are subsidised by Avatar’s Abode via either people’s time in the form of service (including catering, cleaning, gardening, mowing, weekly coffee mornings, monthly pizza/film nights), donations or fundraisers that help to pay for the many annual and per event costs that inevitably occur.
This allows Avatar’s Abode to run events at a very low cost to the community.
With the Women’s Sahavas we had the vision to create a retreat like experience with many experiences within the experience that require extra decorations, art supplies, and for various reasons, a paid caterer and cleaners for all the cabins because we want our volunteers who usually do these jobs to be able to fully immerse in the retreat experience and our collective donation helps this to happen.
Costs for the 2026 Women’s Sahavas tbc as we re-calibrate from this year’s 2025 Sahavas and estimate the budget for next year.
We encourage all participants to stay on the property together to enjoy the full, immersive retreat experience.
If you’d like to register your interest in attending the 2026 Women’s Sahavas please fill out the contact form on our contact page.
NB: If you are having financial difficulties but would like to attend please contact us to further discuss. We can offer payment plans once our official registration period is open.
